then you should choose ONE of them. It would be the same to say that "Peel Slowly And See" is my favourite Velvets album, which doesn´t make sense. Got it?!

i always treat 'island years' more like 2 albums than 3. I have the islands albums on LPs but have never listen to them.

I have a few Cale bootlegs and finally want to pick up a commercial release. I have read a bit about Slow Dazzle, descroibing as one his his more "accessible" LP's. Anyone have opinions? I am not looking for avante-garde! I am looking for more of a Rock & Roll album. Any suggestions?

The answer has to be Fear- it's somewhat like a live show, with the extended soloing on Gun, and wild vocals, but you also get the benefit of production values on the slower, quieter songs.

For Cale's rock 'n' roll, Slow Dazzle is the best for Island era recordings Fear is better.
