Re: Vogue mag and the Primitives - Question

I have looked through the back-issues of Vogue New York 1965 online. I can see nothing . There isn't even really a section that deals with popular or arts culture. Vogue New York at that time was very conservative. Check it yourself here. All issues are online. You just need to register with an email for a viewing session. Maybe I missed it. The zoom feature is not great.

But, I also went to the Westminster Ref. Library in London. It was a bit frustrating because they only had the first 6 months of Vogue 1965. I looked at them all and - one thing i did notice was at the start of the magazine (usually page 13) there is a section called Spotlight that deals with popular theatre, music, film etc. The first issue I looked at even had a photo of Mick Jagger in it. All in all, I'd say that Vogue UK was a far more 'turned-on' and a more a likely place to find a photo of the Primitives in connection to the Ostrich single.
I also checked the last three months of 1964.
Neither V&A Art Library (older decades) nor the British Library (almost nothing) had Vogue 1965.
I've contacted Condé Nast to see whether they have an archive at the offices in Hanover Square. Waiting for reply.
