--couldn't find any confirmation elsewhere of the new Wimbledon, so not sure if it really happened
--in that period, when preparing for the recording of Transformer, Lou together with his first wife was staying in a house in Wimbledon

I have added it. At this point, there is no reason to believe that it didn't take place. I'll do some digging and see what I can find to fully verify.

Almost all tweets on that account with early 1970s scans are items from the Melody Maker, so I guess that's where this one also is from.

I think we can conclude that there was no concert in Sweden in Sept 1973. There is no record of it ever happening.

My only hesitation in completely removing it, is that it had to come from somewhere. It is entirely possible, considering his popularity in Europe at the time - Transformer had gone gold in the UK by Sept '73 - that a Sweden date could have been tacked on at the last minute during his 16-23 September swing across the continent.

I'll make a note in the gigography, though.

The BG News May 25, 1973 contains an ad for State Theater Toledo 27 May.

The Belfast Telegraph 28 October 1972 lists a gig at EMS Whitla Hall Queen's University 3 November 1972
