I'm sure it's talked about in this list somewhere. It's from a cassette copy of a Mo Tucker acetate version as I recall. I think the version on the original FN EP was from that cassette but in mono. A star in this list posted the stereo version a while back.

This version of FN came from my old (1983) "22 demos" cassette and was also on the 1976 bootleg EP "White Heat". Based on the release date for White Heat I would guess that it is a copy of an acetate from Sterling's archive, not Moe's. I remember reading that Sterling copied at least some of his material for friends in the early/mid 1970s, and Moe didn't really "reappear" on the scene till 1980/1981, so my guess is Stering.

(superb/best version of FN in my opinion....)

I do like that version, thanks for the link!! Although I'm not really in a position to compare it to other versions of the song as I've onlly heard that and the official version.

Even though this is an "unreleased" album, does anyone know if there was ever any artwork started for it? Does anyone have any ideas about it?

The version on the '22 Demos' tape that also appeared on the White Heat EP. The rough acetate mix in other words.
