I had to go with Ferryboat Bill because of the version on The Legendary Guitar Amp Tapes. Is there a live bootleg version of Coney Island Steeplechase available? Or a different mix.

I don't know if there was a different mix on the 22 demos tape or something. I do believe there was an entirely different take of Ferryboat Bill that was considered for inclusion on V.U..

There's an early promo cassette for VU that includes Ferryboat Bill in place of Ocean. I don't think it's a different version though.

This has to be one of the toughest of the the prelims...to make a football comparison, sorta of a tie between two top 'Coca Cola Championship' sides....they are both good & strong though not as good as Chelsea, Arsenal or Man U in the higher status Premiership league.

CIS is a much underrated song in the VU canon and is rather cute.....FB is a a great one line joke and the Guitar Tapes version is fantastic....I went for CIS as its is lesser known and probably wont be voted for as much.
