I've read in previous topics about those 43 tracks- 8 hours of music- that someone (forgot who) won't let them being released
what a shame! It's so good in quality that it'd need official release. please

I think it was Lou who won't any new VU live realeases
I'm not sure but I don't think that is it. IIRC there is some sort of legal situation that put the breaks on any further VU archival releases. This is why the 3rd album DE never came out.
