In the light of reaction to Phil M's post of 18 May '22, here's a link to a 1975 Bangs interview in case anyone missed it; he calls Lou a pathetic death dwarf. First printed in Detroit Creem and reprinted in New Musical Express, UK.

Old PDF files will never have the character of old clippings printed nearly 50 years ago though.

Thanks so much for posting this. I've read it many times in reprint, but never seen it with the original graphics.

Interesting article in today's Guardian about Creem magazine. Some pix of Lester.... plus a nice pic of Lou going goggle-eyed.
