Berlin title track instrumental?!

Post by MJG196 »

On the Berlin 8-track cassette, the title/opening track has a magnificent 70+ second instrumental that leads into Lady Day. Does anyone have this? I'd love to be able to listen to it on my computer. My 8-track machine bit the dust and my 8-track cassette is hopelessly warped. Thanks e-bay!

I did have a copy of this - I'm not sure if I still have it - if I do it's in a box somewhere at my mum's. I certainly don't have any way of playing it at the moment. If I find it I'll look into getting an 8 track from somewhere

There's a better quality -- and longer -- mp3 version available for downloading from the files section of this group: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/th ... reedclub2/
You'll need to register to access it. Or pm me and I can email it to you.

I wonder why the Berlin remaster didn't include this. Personally, I think it is the best part of the opening track!
