I made some additional research and book Cinema at the Margins is that movie Acid Mantra: Re-Birth of a Nation by Ben Van Meter including VU concert footage

Huh? I don’t see any claims that Dixon filmed the band there? Is there some sort of misunderstanding?

By "released" do you mean commercially available? Public domain? In digital format? The more clearly and specifically you define your terms, the more meaningful your list can be.

“Released” simply means that it’s in public circulation. It could be official, and it could be unofficial, but it has to be out there for everyone to see (preferably online). For example, most of the footage marked as “unreleased” is publically available through arthouse screenings, but that doesn’t qualify as “released” since there’s no ease of access for everybody.

I don't have the photos to hand to confirm but I seem to remember that some of the photos shot at the cafe bizarre in 1965 show barbera rubin holding a movie camera? Anyone else remember that?
