Re: Anthology of Lou’s Work for Pickwick Records - Light In The Attic
Sounds a lot brighter than what we're used to but I'm ok with that. Maybe we're hearing the difference between the original master and cheaply pressed 60 year old vinyl. Or maybe they've just re-EQed it for the modern ear. I'd say it's almost unthinkable that any original masters exist for these ...

Re: Anthology of Lou’s Work for Pickwick Records - Light In The Attic
The compilation collects pop songs written by Reed during his mid-60s stint as a staff songwriter for the record label: https://thequietus.com/news/light-in-the-attic-reveals-anthology-of-lou-reeds-work-for-pickwick-records/ Great photo of the Pickwick staff: https://i.imgur.com/vF7v770.jpg Yes ...

Re: Lou Reed Gigography - Research Results (1972-73)
I think that 14th May is the correct date from Princeton. In my files I have: 13th May: Youngstown State University 14th May: Princeton University 17th May: Montreal 18th May: Philadelphia 19th May: Harrisburg etc etc I have no idea where the "15th May" recording is from.... Thank you, this date ...

Re: Connie Radoulovitch
I am sure that I have seen a photo of Lou with Connie but I cannot find it!
I do know that Nigel Trevena told me that Connie had been a major contributor to his book back in 1972/73 - IIRC Connie gave him a pile of press cuttings/photocopies re Lou and the VU.

Re: Lou Reed Gigography - Research Results (1972-73)
another date for 1972:
1972-10-31: Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge
i.e. same venue as for the show on 13th October. I am in contact with a guy who saw both shows - apparently the 1st show went so well they booked Lou again.

Re: Sound excerpts from interview with John Cale, 1966 September
I've had this for a while and have been trying to figure out the true order (without much success). I do think that the person being interviewed at (first file track 8) is actually Sterling Morrison. Anyone agree (or disagree?). Awesome! Thank you for this Gig setlist then - First file: 1. I'll Be ...

Re:
supposedly the rest of that Sister Ray was accidentally/inadvertently deleted by Jamie's sister? What about the Sister Ray that follows SSR. We get the first few bars and then it fades out. Did the tape-recorder run out?(unlikely, as it did fade out). OL's web site also hints somewhere that Klimek ...
