I bought a VU DVD off ebay for ?8; it's the one on Oliver's site (URL below). The quality is mixed but OK and it's nice to replace my ageing video copies. Anyone else bought this? What do you think?

I can never find any VHS or DVD from them anywhere. I'm still waiting for that Redux DVD, which I'm hoping won't be delayed again.

I think the only official Velvet Underground DVD that's released is The Velvet Underground & Nico movie by Andy Warhol. Which is mighty expensive. And available in my local library. Huzzah.

I had this same anthology, quality isn't great but parts of it are better than others. Is there any decent copy of the South Bank show available? I think most of the copies circulating are just really shoddy from being the X copy made from copies of an eighties VHS recording. I know some show bank shows have been commerically released (like the Warhol one,) was the Velvets one ever?

What songs are performed on the VU & Nico DVD?
