I'm compiling the Great Lost 4th album as per Oliver's web site

http://members.aol.com/olandem/vu.html

from the VU and Another View on CD and vinyl*.

- Were there ever any hints about what the cover art might look like?

- Does anyone know what the possible titles for this album may have been?

I'd like my crass and inept home-made art to look slightly in the spirit of what might have originally been intended.

thanks in advance

*of course I own all of these.

*the hard part was getting What Goes On but the microscopically slower version of Ocean makes the compilation further interesting. Of course having the resources to create Olivier's "Lo Fi" version remains a dream.

I guess they never got as far as choosing a title for the record (as it was never fully finished), but MGM did have a catalogue number for it - SE-4641. When I finally assemble and weed my 'ultimate' edition of these tracks (sometime im 2009 probably), that's what it's going to be called.

thanks Mark. Appreciated.

Roll on 2009! The 40 years anniversary of the recordings.

Googling the catalogue number gives Olivier's page and the Mysterious Schwann project, which just whets the appetite.
