Bob does some great work finding locations, i find it fascinating. I never knew that the sleeve for the 1st Lou Reed LP was an actual street/avenue - that was fascinating. Its quite surprising really just how many have survived considering NYCs desire to renew itself every 20ish years. Such a shame that the 1st Factory building was demolished I would love to have seen it.
As the 1960s slip into history and those who were there shuffle off this mortal coil we'll see alot more of this photo-archaeology..
