Wow... much as it goes against my instinct, I'd actually hesitate to call that overpriced. It looks pretty special.

so if I'm reading that correctly, the catalogue itself always stays the same, the difference in price accounts for the additional stuff (the majority of it original) it comes with.

I emailed the gallery for contact info (which is probably just on their website,) if I get anything additional I'll post it.

Thanks for the information. Guess I'm gonna go for the 45 dollar one.

I'm just trying to work out if I should go for the $150 one or not - the dollar is weak etc etc, but the extra stuff isn't that amazing, I'll wait and see what the colour print looks like...

The color print included in 100 series of the catalog is a beautiful 8x8 museum quality print from the original negative. It is the color image of the VU and Nico used for the cover of the Velvet Underground Companion book. The Uptight announcement is hand silk screened not off-set printed.

I ordered the $45 one today, you can just call up the bookstore and do it over the phone with a credit card.

Just returned from finally catching this exhibit. It was remarkably well done. I wish I had a week straight to really look at everything. Kudos to the gallery for putting it together!! Picked up the $45 catalog and anticipate hours of enjoyment with it.
