Alfredovu, I've never seen that first one. Beautiful! Where did you find it?

I think I posted all them already . They are from Billy Name at the Cheetah April 1967. This one was miscredited as The Bizarre on the Drella Deluxe CD:
These are the others:

Regret to say that this is the best I can do. They are not at Mr. Name´s Web Site (not at least last time I checked it) I luckly found them surfing the net few months ago.
But they are enjoyable, aren´t they?

lou has a 1967 gretsch 6122 country gentleman. only has one mute switch down by the bridge instead of two, like george harrison's 1962 model has. hollow with painted f-holes. really nice guitar.

They are! I think that might be my fave-period of the Velvets. Sound- and style-wise.
And about the 12-string; Please remind me, is there any live-recordings of VU with Lou playing 12-string?
Or any recording at all? I cannot think of one. I have to go back to my records...

When I saw the VU Nov 8 1969 in San Francisco, Lou occasionally played a 12 string. I remember him
playing it for I'm Set Free. He played it a couple of other times. Both he and Sterling played hollow body
guitars, that I assume to be the ones mentioned. They seemed alike. So my ignorance of guitar
types is now exposed.
