page six seemed a little sketchy on the two listings of i heard her call my name. I've heard from a variety of sources about two versions in circulation, is there any truth to this rumor?

I have this ad (reprinted in the upcoming Inevitable Catalogue,by the way 8-) ). It is the version with out the "Come.Step softly..." wording.

I'm afraid not. I got the impression none of his stuff will do the rounds anytime soon with the (dim) possibility an official bootleg set happens.

Interesting comment here:
The 2004 mono vinyl edition of the LP restores the original Emerson image to the cover...

BTW- The image comes from the 1966 Conrad Rooks film Chappaqua. I got a copy of it on DVD a couple years ago and when the Emerson image appeared on the TV screen, I did a freeze-frame and grabbed my copy of the VU LP. Sure enough, same image!
