Thanks for the great wishes by all. Mike Kostek is one in a million. He worked non stop 2 days in funky humid heat to save my treasures. He is finished and left with over 30 boxes and glad to report there were only about 20 books catalogue etc that were damaged. The bulk about 99.9% was saved mike brought another Velvets fan along who I can't remember his name at this point, that deserves as much thanks as Mike. Hopefully life will get normal soon. But as I always say, Velvet Underground people are some of the best people, bar none.

I never did but after 25 years I have 1000% trust in Mike! He is my hero to be geeky. He will clean rate categorize and photo everything and will send me a list. Then look out for his eBay store. I'm spent but feeling much better. Remember, this could have been DESTROYED! I was there 1 day and he handled each item like a new born baby. Couldn't be in better hands.

Part one (?) of Rick's VU collection is up now, lots of US VU&Ns including bananas, monos, torsos, obscure international editions, plus some heartbreaking photos of storm damage....

Me -I finally got a German 'Rotation' series VU&N - "sex, horror and vibration" indeed!
