One reason might be that this a common bootleg, the other reason is the file format. MP3 is trash.
I have this boot - on good old vinyl.

Did you happen to do a vinyl transfer of this bootleg, lostblues? I feel the same way about MP3 that you do, and it would be awesome to have a lossless copy.

Somebody download this MP3 and compare the version of 'Foggy Notion' (labeled as 'Do It Again') to their copy - this one sounds better for some reason.

Found these links on the 'Stairway to Heaven' messageboard (although I haven't checked the links). Looks like someone has been creating mp3 rips of old Australian VU vinyl bootlegs.
