VU Mystery
If you blow up the photo, you can see that there is some white strips hanging off Lou's guitar near the tone/volume knobs. My guess is that they look like several pieces of white tape. Any other guesses or suspicions of what it was for?

well spotted!
Maybe they were used to secure that "plug in" VOX fuzz box that he was using at the time? Simon previously posted a pic of it on this forum if I remember correctly.

Re: THE VELVET UNDERGROUND IN BOSTON
Wow, that picture of the soup can reminded me of something. Finances have forced me to try to sell some of my collection. I have a Campbell soup can that is actually an invitation to the BAM Songs for Drella Shows. (Warhols picture etc. on the label) I have only ever seen this one I bought on eBay years ago. Does anybody want to venture to guess how much this could bring at auction? I watch worldwide eBay every day for VU related selling prices but I am lost on this one. I think I paid about $40 USD. I have to start selling many treasured items, but I can't conceive of selling them for a shit price. Thoughts?taxine wrote:Oh my........
