Looks like some creative soul has rerecorded the whole "White Light/White Heat" album using radically different instrumentation and made it available for free download on his site. I'm at work, so I haven't taken a listen yet, but sounds like a cool idea to me. They've posted a bunch of positive reviews of the thing on the site. Might be worth a listen.

Truly demented, the Lady Godiva version is wonderful, it sounds like a Chinese Opera plays the Velvets, shame about the vocals on the title track though, was the engineer deaf? :?
