The price on this has been updated to a more reasonable $66.49 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FH3 ... c__1p_5_ti

I'm still going to wait to see if it gets released locally, but I'm getting excited about this.

Much more reasonable. It'll probably be down to $50-60 from Amazon Marketplace sellers once it's actually out. I finally broke down and bought the 6 disc VU&N. I'm sure I'll end up getting this one too.

Now I'm kinda pissed. I bought this direct from Universal and it cost me $100. wonder if Universal will issue some credit?

Thanks. The description of the original version of Beginning To See The Light already has me excited:
This take has a vintage kick ? Martha & The Vandellas? Dancing In The Street taken at the gait of I?m Waiting For The Man.

I didn't know it would be there. But I just can't allow myself to listen until the album arrives!

The site is very 'black', full of intriguing quotes and makes a good advert for the set. Interested that they forgrounded Cecil Taylor and Ornette Coleman as main character players in the theatre of the album.
