JOHN CALE - Emerald City, Cherry Hill, NJ 1981-05-01 [From uncirculated master]

JOHN CALE
EMERALD CITY, CHERRY HILL, NJ, USA
MAY 1, 1981
MASTER AUDIENCE RECORDING BY THE BIG A

AUD>UNKNOWN RECORDER MASTER CASSETTE>STAND ALONE BURNER>WAV>FLAC

This was a great show - I think it was my second time seeing JC. The Rattlers opened (no tape - don't ask). The band is in fine fighting form, the setlist is excellent, and the recording, while not terribly hi-fi has no issues and is a pleasure to listen to, imho. Don't know whether this circulates, but this is a fresh burn from the master cassette so it's gonna be an upgrade to whatever (if anything) is out there.

BAND:
Mr. John Cale - vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass
Mr. Sturgis Nikides - lead guitar
Mr. Jim Goodwin - keyboards, sax, vocals
Mr. Peter Muny - bass
Mr. Bob Medici - drums, vocals

SETLIST:
01. walking the dog
02. evidence
03. dr. mudd
04. riverbank
05. guts
06. dirty-ass rock and roll
07. dead or alive
08. fighter pilot
09. wilson joliet
10. leaving it up to you
11. mercenaries (ready for war)
12. pablo picasso
