I don't think it will be hard to find someone with a 16mm player but we need to organize this so we don't duplicate our efforts or end up with 10 people contacting MOMA.

I'm in as well. And I'm within commuting distance of NYC, so if someone actually needs to go down to get the reels I can help there too :D

Indeed! Before we have to get "so far Underground we get the bends" with this, I've checked it out...there is a 16mm-to-DVD conversion lab here in town. So that problem is solved as well.
