Cale has a new single out today. The instrumental version is the closest thing he's ever done to vintage VU

Was just coming in to say the same thing. He did it just like Sister Ray said.

I think he hit it sideways

The vinyl LP has a different version to the one release yesterday, hopefully even less polished

And while we are on the subject of Cale singles, does anyone know of a source for Cry one of the bonus singles that came with the Shifty Adventures lp?

Although on second thoughts, this might just be the vocal version with the vocals removed.

Its easy to remove vocals from a track these days using AI. I have all Cale's albums as instrumentals too
